As it now clear, the Carney Liberal Government will cut at least another 30,000 jobs in the federal public service. This not only means jobs loss, it means a potential reduction in the important public services people in Canada rely on, as well as ripple effects like economic impacts for local communities. But, as a public service union, we are all too familiar with the fallout from cuts to public service.
